![]() I received my order a few days ago and normally I’d wait 6 months to a year before submitting a review, but this thing is so well made and stout that I feel confident, baring the release spring breaking or something small, a review now won’t be any different from a year from now. The Alias is another well executed design that in some ways changes the legacy way of attaching a gun to your belt. Everything they make is well thought out and extremely well made. It started with TAD gears run of the mag holders and then the trays. I’ve been a Neomag owner for a while now. Well-built, simple, and just extraordinary. The Alias is simply the best concealed carry innovation I’ve ever encountered, and I suspect I will never need another. In fact, when I had dressed, I walked into my living room and asked my wife and daughter: “Do I dare carry my pistol to this event?” They looked at me puzzled, and said, “How are you going to carry it?” I replied, “I AM carrying it.” Their jaws dropped, and their eyes were scrutinizing my waistline. No one would have ever dreamed I had a full-size double-stack 9mm at my appendix position. ![]() I recently attended a crowded semi-formal reception wearing my jeans and a tucked in button down dress shirt. The concealment is truly extraordinary for any attire whatsoever. Once I adjusted the cant on my holster, this system quickly became a “clip and forget you’re even carrying” system. I carry a Sig Legion P229, a pretty substantial pistol, and it feels ROCK solid on my person. Which has never actually happened to me.Īs for the Alias, wow. It’s no issue during colder months, as I usually wear a flannel or longer outer shirt, but in the summer months in just a T-shirt the magazine is observable–IF somebody decides to stare directly at my pocket. My one issue is that I do wish the clip was a bit longer to get the mag a bit deeper into my pocket (Maybe there is such a version now–I haven’t looked in awhile!). The NeoMag is an exceptional option for carrying an additional magazine. Having used the Alias carry system and NeoMag on a daily basis for many months, I thought I’d write a review.
